Oroville is in Okanogan County, Washington, and we serve homeowners there as part of serving all of Washington State. Refine Design Architecture is a residential architecture firm based in the Methow Valley. Our projects span from Seattle and Gig Harbor to Leavenworth, Chelan, and Winthrop. We also write about home design in rural North Central Washington, including Oroville. We won't pretend to know your street better than you do. What we bring to Adu Design is a process: we begin by listening to your story, your lifestyle, and your aspirations, then study the lot and what it allows.
An accessory dwelling unit can serve very different purposes. Some owners want passive income, some want to downsize, and some want room for extended family. Each calls for a different layout and a different relationship to the main house. Our Adu Design work creates self-contained units with a kitchenette, bathroom, and living space. We also handle zoning, permitting, and the design details that make a small home work well.
