Snohomish is a city in Snohomish County, Washington. We serve all of Washington State, so Snohomish homeowners are within our reach. We haven't completed a project in Snohomish, and we won't claim local experience we don't have. What we bring to Adu Design here is the same method we use everywhere, starting with listening to your story, lifestyle, and aspirations.
Adding a unit can take several forms. We design home additions including mother-in-law suites and ADUs. We also convert garages into extra bedrooms, studios, or entertainment areas, addressing insulation, heating, and ventilation, and we turn underused attics into usable rooms. Your starting point shapes the Adu Design plan, and for remodels and additions we measure existing construction and build a 3D model of existing conditions.
For an example of how we add to an older house, we designed an addition to a 100-year-old Craftsman in Seattle that kept the home's style with matching vertical siding and rooflines. It isn't an ADU, but it shows how we approach new space beside an existing home. Your team would include Principal Architects Stone Faison and Julia Atkins and Project Architect Brandon Skinner.
