Refine Design Architecture is a residential architecture firm that serves the Lake Chelan Valley, including Manson, Chelan, and surrounding areas across Chelan County. Our guidance on Lake Chelan custom homes comes from local residential architects, and we have designed homes in Lake Chelan and Manson, WA. An Architect Consultation is the first conversation: free, and focused on your vision, your site, your budget, and what is possible.
Two Chelan projects show how we work with the site. The Lake Chelan Overlook Residence in Chelan, WA was inspired by Tuscan design and responds to a steep hillside site and lake views. It was designed as a folded bar that bends with the contours of the hillside, and it is organized around a sequence of framed outlooks rather than treating the view as a single backdrop. Exterior terraces and an infinity-edge pool extend from the main living level toward the lake.
The Chelan Hill Top Studio, a modern single-family residence in Chelan, Washington, is elevated above the natural meadow to minimize site disturbance and capture views of Lake Chelan. It combines wood, glass, and steel, with floor-to-ceiling glazing for daylight and passive solar gain and deep roof overhangs for summer shading.
Our team has designed both modern and rustic homes, and we provide custom residential design on Lake Chelan using a site-specific approach. If you are thinking about a custom home in the Lake Chelan and Manson region, an Architect Consultation is a simple way to begin. Contact us to schedule one.
